As the daughter of an outlaw biker, Rya DeLuca is used to living a wild life, but nothing could prepare her for the danger of falling in love with Dimitri Novikov. To Rya he’s a warm, loving, sexy as hell Dom who gives her exactly the kind of bondage and discipline she craves in the bedroom, but to the rest of the world Dimitri is a feared man, a cold blooded, heartless killer who is at the top of the Russian Mafia food chain. While her hard and Dominant Master is her perfect match in every way that matters, their love can never last longer than a few days at most. Every moment Rya spends with Dimitri puts her life in jeopardy from rival gangs and Dimitri’s own family.Dimitri will have to decide if he loves Rya enough to walk away from her in order to save her life, or if their love is worth starting a war that could change the world of the Russian mafia forever.

I received this book from the publisher Fated Desires in return for a fair and honest review.

Dimitri has dark secrets, his father even more. His brother Alex is tormented.  When Dimitri meets Rya a beautiful submissive with a  a family that is not your everyday type, they both knew they were destined for something more.  The story grabbed me at page one and did not waver for a second. Words practically sizzle off the page into my vivid imagination and I was immersed in the hottest, scariest and wildest adventure into the world of Russian Doms I have yet read.

The attraction between Dimitri and Rya is mesmerizing. The trials they go through and the way they are resolved were exquisitely detailed.  A glimpse into the daily lives of Ivan and Gia from “Ivan’s Captive Submissive” when visited by the couple was just the icing on this story.

The epilogue was full of surprises and I think gives a hint of the next of the Submissive’s Wish series.

I totally loved this book.  Ann Mayburn is gifted with a way of writing that has me needing cold showers to be normal again.

Five contented purrs for this book.
