Not only is there a rift between her and Nyna, there’s a very sexy dragon shifter complicating matters.

Stuck in a web of lies, scandal, and a tantalizing love triangle, Nyna isn’t sure whom to trust. Her heart wants both Kara and Cayden, but they each have secrets. When Kara reveals that someone close to Nyna is responsible for her parents’ murders, her love life becomes secondary to the investigation. She is determined to find out the truth. Even if it means that her life will change forever.

This book was a gift in exchange for a fair and honest review

After escaping her jailers, Kara’s first thought was to get to Nyna and tell her the truth about her parents murder. She had been waiting for her to open her shop in cat form when Cayden grabbed her and took her to his home.

Cayden wasn’t going to let Kara anywhere near Nyna. She had been heartbroken when her Uncle Henry told her Kara had run away with some internet boyfriend. So he would learn where she had been before Nyna even knows she is back.

Nyna’s uncle had been checking up on her frequently and now had purchased a home near Woodland. She didn’t understand why since he really never liked the town.

Together the dragon, the kitty cat and the human have to figure everything out from the web bonding to the murder of Nyna’s parents.

This was a fun read. Not too intense, but the search for evidence got me holding my breath and quite a few surprises pop up along the way. Love the dragon and the black kitty shifter forms the kitty especially was fun.
