In my wild, reckless past Carlos ‘Beach’ Rodriguez would have been my ideal man. He’s handsome, experienced, rich, kind, and in complete control of his destiny. Unfortunately he’s also a criminal, the President of an outlaw motorcycle club, and I’ve sworn off bad boys in my efforts to live my dream of being normal. Everything I thought I knew about Sarah just went out the window. She is far more complex than I thought and the perfect match for Beach.

In this, part one of their story, we get to see part of Sarah’s very different and very disturbing upbringing with her mother.

Followed by her retirement from pole-dancing where she meets Beach. The attraction is instantaneous and mutual but Sarah doesn’t trust anyone.  Here’s just a small bit from when they meet.

“Trust you?” I meant for it to come out in a scoffing manner, but instead they were a light whisper. I wasn’t even sure he heard over the now wailing electric guitar perfectly complimenting the pounding drums of the music throbbing around us.

Lots of heart pounding excitement, with battles, kidnapping and displays of ingenuity and strength by both of them. Beach may be powerful and scary but Sarah is seriously scary and beautiful.

With over forty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she’s been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.
