Welcome to Nirvana. Your wish is a cowboy’s command…
An injury sends Dade Jarrett to the hospital and he’s told he’ll never walk again, but a cowboy never gives up. After a long, grueling recovery, he’s walking again, with a limp and the assistance of a cane. He’s ready to get back on the Nirvana Ranch, but first he has made a promise to help Chase, his boss. The last thing Dade wants to do is babysit a spoiled brat–a beautiful, spoiled brat who is well over the age of consent. She thinks she’s clever when she steals his clothes and leaves him stranded, but he aims to show her a cowboy can’t be fooled. If it’s the last thing he does, it’ll be to tame the spirited Felicia Sever.
Felicia has a ‘thing’ for cowboys, but she made a promise to her brother, Chase, that she’d keep her hands off the Nirvana cowboys and let them do their jobs. However, once she finds out he’s asked one of the cowboys to be her keeper, she’s pissed and ready to show over-protective Chase that she’s more than capable of taking care of herself! Yet, can she…? Trouble is her middle name.
Stuck in a hotel room with Felicia, Dade knows his job and future are on the line, but can he resist the one woman he can’t have?
Felicia wants one thing, Dade. He believes his limp and scars are a turn-off, but she knows one way to prove to him that he’s a complete turn-on. After all, a secret affair never hurt anyone…or will it?
I love this series, Nirvana is certainly somewhere I wish was real so I could vacation there. I mean really a beautiful working ranch resort, what’s not to like?
In this latest installment we meet Chase’s sister Felicia. Chase being all macho big brother, sets Dade to the task of keeping an eye on her to keep her out of trouble. Alas trouble seems to be Felicia’s middle name, she loves Cowboys, the real thing though. No make-believe dress up cowboys for her.
Dade is a real Cowboy in every sense of the word. If you’ve been reading this series you know that Dade is still recuperating from his injuries, but is slowing starting to work the ranch again. Keeping an eye on the boss’ sister shouldn’t be a problem.
This was a fun romp on Nirvana. Felicia really keeps Dade on his toes and needing to let loose a bit she locks him in a massage room and goes off to town. This is a favorite scene after Dade catches up with her.
“Relax, Dade. You look like you could spit nails. By the way, you need ice for the cheek.”
Her smile made him want to kiss her. He’d give a month’s wages just to have a chance to sample the cherry flavored lip tint again. “Nah, I’ll live. I’ve been stung harder by a bee.”
“Suit yourself, but you’re going to have a black eye.”
“I’m not worried about the black eye. Chase will do more than that once we get back to Nirvana.”
She laid a palm on her tilted hip. “We’re not doing anything wrong.”
“Let me list the issues.” He sat up and lifted one finger. “First, I’m supposed to be watching over you and making sure you don’t get into trouble. I failed. You managed to steal my clothes and leave me locked in a room. And just so you know, I’m still not over that. Two,” he held up another digit, “I left the ranch without telling anyone.”
She lifted a shoulder and let it drop. “So, we’re not prisoners.”
“I have the ranch truck and after Chase realizes we’re both missing, he’ll jump to conclusions like most older, protective brothers would. He’ll believe I took advantage of you.”
“Dade, you take advantage of me?” She laughed.
“I don’t think I like where you’re headed.”
“I’ll explain everything to Chase. If anything, he’ll be upset with me, but he’ll see that you were innocent in all of this.”

A fun read with lots of sizzling sex, an irritated guest and a brother who doesn’t really want to know the truth.
