Cupid’s arrow didn’t miss his mark with this LIMITED TIME boxed set featuring sexy, alpha males and the sassy, strong females who love them.

Red Hot Pleasures
Lia Davis
Both men are perfect, sexy, and have captured her heart. Things heat up when they reveal they want a ménage a trois. But could one night of passion turn into a lifetime of pleasure?

Tessa accepted a date with Hunter, the contractor hired to redesign her office space, now she is having second thoughts. Her best friend, Jake, has returned to town and she really wants to know where things could lead with him. Unfortunately she still really wants both of them.
This is a favorite scene where Hunter and Jake realize they not only want each other but Tessa as well.
Jake wiggled his fingers into Hunter’s fist and squeezed his hand. “I wish I could have been there for you. With you. I feel awful for being angry all this time now that I know the truth.”
“You had every right to be angry. By the time I pulled my head out my ass, I figured the damage was done, and it was too late for me to call.” Hunter unfolded his hand and linked his fingers with Jake’s. “The last thing I wanted was to hurt you.”
“I fell in love with you that summer,” Jake admitted softly. “I think I still am.”
A spark reignited the flame Jake had started in Texas. Hope bloomed, and Hunter wondered if Jake would want to share Tessa. “I want to start over. With you and Tessa.”
A smile formed on Jake’s mouth, and damn if Hunter didn’t want to lean in and claim those lips. “Tessa will take some convincing.”
Hunter brought Jake’s hand up to place a kiss in his palm. “Or at least convince her so whole-heartedly— and with such intense pleasure— that she won’t want to say no.”
Lia Davis. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 515-525). After Glows.
I really enjoyed Hunter and Jake’s pursuit of Tessa. She really didn’t have a chance once she admitted her interest. This one will start your kindle melting.

Old Flame Burns Again
Angelica Dawson
Valentine’s Day just got a lot more interesting. At dinner with his wife, her former roommate, Lisa, joins them. Rekindling their lesbian relationship, the women include a new male member.

This one starts off hot and doesn’t cool down. From the moment Ben meets his wife Diane’s college roommate and lover he knew things were going to change. When Diane goes to meet Lisa for lunch he couldn’t stop thinking of them this is just snippet from when she arrives home.
I was so lost in thought I didn’t hear the door open.”Ben? You didn’t have to wait up.”
My head turned at the sound of her voice. My wife. Mine. Not Lisa’s. Imagination might get the better of me, but I could fight it with reality, the solid, warm body of Diane. I ran to wrap my arms around her.
She stiffened at my abruptness. “What is wrong?”
I took her cheeks in my hands, kissing her. “Nothing, just driving myself crazy.” I ran my hands through my hair and took off my glasses. “I haven’t been able to get the two of you out of my head all night.”
She wrapped her hand around my hard-on. “You were thinking about us? Come to bed. Let me show you.”
Angelica Dawson. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 1328-1334). After Glows.
If your kindle isn’t melting it should be. This one is mostly the coming together of these three characters.
I think I would have liked a bit more story with all the action though.

Love for Her Billionaires
Auriella Skye
Sandy has a problem. Two of them. She’s fallen for her bosses. Jacob and Jonathan are rich, sexy, and smart. An irresistible trifecta. This alpha duo is ready to show Sandy the nights of passion that await her, but can she get them to love her for a lifetime?

Sandy was nervous, she had her exit interview with the billionaire brothers marking the end of her internship. Still holding on to the hope she would be kept on she began her interview.
This is just a small part of that scene.
“Do you know why we asked you here, Sandy?”
“For my exit interview and possibly a future job with you?” I held out hope that I hadn’t completely fucked myself over with my big mouth. A miracle probably had to happen, though.
Jon stroked my hand, and the sensation made my pussy clench. “In part, yes,” he said. “You are here for future possibilities. We wanted to see if you were the right candidate for a new position we’re in need of.”
“I’m confused, sir.” There I was on the brink of becoming an emotional wreck, or at least in the midst of one, and they were still considering me.
“Call us Jon and Jacob,” Jon said with a smile. “For now, anyways.” His voice had an edge to it that promised something just below the surface. Something I both desired and dreaded. Desire was winning out.
“It’s simple,” Jacob said. “We’ve had you in mind for this particular job for a while, but we needed to be sure first.”
“Sure about what?” I asked. I was distracted by Jon’s touch. My body was calming down by being so close to him, and the petting was certainly helping. His hand was strong, warm, and surprisingly soft. All of my focus zoned in on Jon’s contact, and I reveled in the intimacy of it. I was barely paying attention to the words they were saying to me.
Jacob leaned forward on his desk so he had my attention. “I’m going to ask you a question first, and you need to be honest with us. We don’t approve of liars in our company. Understand?”
I nodded, feeling the tension creep back inside of me.
“What’s the most important reason you want to remain here at Sims Innovative Industries?”
I thought about things most people would say, but I only had one reason, two of them really. That seemed so embarrassing to admit, but I chose honesty.
“I want to stay because of you two,” I said. My voice was shaky, and I wasn’t sure they heard me.
“Elaborate,” Jacob said, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms.
Jon stroked my hand with a steadier pace and nodded to urge me on.
“I first visited this building a little over a year ago, at the end of my senior year,” I said. I took my time with my words. “It was a college tour that brought me here. I met both of you that day, and afterward, I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. I didn’t want to go anywhere else.”
They probably thought I was some silly fangirl with a crush on them like most of the women who threw themselves at their feet, but they had asked for honesty, so I gave it to them.
“I’m sure you wouldn’t remember,” I said. I avoided their stares, but the weight of their eyes stayed on me even when I couldn’t see them.
“We remember,” Jacob said.
Auriella Skye. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 2093-2094). After Glows.
I didn’t know what I expected to happen but it certainly surprised me. Jon and Jacob went straight to what they desired the most, her.
This one was so hot I had to stop reading to let my kindle cool down for a bit.

Two on One Breakaway
Cassandra Carr
Haley has never been in a menage relationship before, but these two men make a great case for trying it. Both dote on her, support her, and keep her topmost in their priorities. Never before has Haley experienced this kind of love, and she’s becoming addicted. But will this Valentine’s Day be a happy one, or will all three lose their chance at a happy-ever-after?

When his friend and teammate Ian gets traded, Derek misses the camaraderie they had shared. Not only on the ice but in the women they shared. As such his game suffers and he finds himself traded to join Ian in Buffalo.
Hailey has been seeing Ian for a couple of months and she is aware of the type of relationship he wants with her. One where he shares her with Derek. She is keeping an open mind and even as things heat up she has some doubts. This is a favorite scene after they have spent some time together outside of their respective homes.
“I’m an old-fashioned kind of girl.” She smiled self-consciously. “Well, in a lot of ways. As I was saying, I think these quick meetings—”
“Dates,” Ian corrected.
“Dates,” she repeated. “Because we’ve been on all these shorter dates usually involving food, which I’m a fan of, so feel free to continue with that…” She hesitated. “I feel like we’ve actually gotten to know each other much more.”
Derek nodded. “I agree.” He still wasn’t ready to commit too much until he heard more from her point of view and whether or not she could really do this ménage thing.
“It’s strange,” she continued. “To be honest, I thought it might be really weird, doing this. When Ian first brought up the subject, I wasn’t sure what to think. Even when you got here, I have to admit to being skeptical about how this relationship would work. But it’s not like I’m dating two guys. I mean, I am, though it’s not like I have to keep you apart, make sure neither of you knows about the other. You sanction this whole thing. It was your idea in the first place.”
“We’ve been interested in ménage since we became friends,” Derek answered.
“I know. Ian told me.”
He glanced at Ian. “And how are you finding this whole thing?”
She seemed to consider her words carefully before speaking. “Like I said, at first, I had my doubts. At this point, though, I’m having fun. You guys are both great, and you’ve been good to me. I especially appreciate that you’re not expecting me to jump into bed with you for some crazy sex games or anything.”
Ian coughed. “What exactly are your impressions about ménage relationships? In our experience, they’re not that different as far as most of the parts of the relationship go.”
But the sex is so much better. Derek licked his lips.
“You can’t blame me for having preconceived ideas. I’ve read stories and stuff.”
“Let us set you straight. You’re with both of us. Neither expects to be the frontrunner, so to speak. These relationships work best when jealousy doesn’t enter the picture,” Derek explained. He hoped Haley would feel good about things if they were able to allay any of her fears.
She nodded slowly. “I can understand that.”
“So we just keep going as we are, getting to know more about each other,” Ian said. “No pressure.
Cassandra Carr. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 3940-3964). After Glows.
As Derek makes his place within the ranks of the team, his interest in Hailey also increases. Both he and Ian know they have found the one, now to convince her.I love the going slow, the building of the relationship between them. The intensity and the love that slowly grows and the friendships that are a bonding within their team.
I hope this is the beginning of a new series for Cassandra, I need to see this come to fruition.

Triad
Kim Carmichael
When a sexy alien crash lands on their planet, a couple in search of their third never dreamed this warrior might be the one they both need. Now the three must fight for their Triad.

When Talbot awoke from suspension, his pilot and mate did not. Heartbroken he is talked through the landing by the Mersennean Officials. What he didn’t expect was to be so taken by Kenna, an authority on traditions. It was more than that too. He was also attracted to Lucas her one mate. Their bond was not complete since they had lost the other member of their Triad before they could be bonded.
Now they had to decide whether or not to buck tradition and bond, or would Talbot just leave. This is a favorite scene as Kenna runs from her emotions.
She stood with her back facing them, arms crossed over her chest and looking up. Sure enough, against the pink sky was Femkat, its rings just starting to glow with Helia lowering in the sky. “They said many eons ago Femkat had a satellite all its own. Then one day, long before we had the imagery to capture it, a comet crashed into the little satellite, shattering it to pieces. Rather than destroy Femkat, the debris surrounded our moon, melded together to create the different colors, and graced it with the ribbons. Out of destruction came something glorious.”
He took her hand. She held him tight.
Talbot took his position behind them and wrapped his arms around their shoulders pulling them to him. “Then I would say that after my near crash landing onto your planet, something magnificent came out of that.”
Both he and Kenna turned to Talbot making a little circle.
“The rings will always be there,” she whispered.
Talbot brushed the back of his hand along her cheek. “That’s not true. You and I both know that one day eons from now they’ll dissipate and eons from then, those looking up at Femkat won’t believe there was ever a moment in time where ribbons of color wound around their moon.”
A tear streamed down her cheek. “Do you know that every Helia cycle we have a celebration of the rings? We just appreciate them.”
He wiped her tear away. “Then maybe, since we don’t know how long the rings of anything else will be there, we simply celebrate the time we have?”
“Tal–”
Before she said anything else, he cut her off by putting his finger over her lips.
“We don’t know anything but what is right now.” As if to send her his message, Talbot widened his eyes.
Lucas nodded. The way Talbot dealt with their female definitely confirmed the position they bestowed upon him.
“Do you think we can celebrate being together, since that is what is happening right now?” Their vertex bent down and gave her a kiss.
The way Kenna melted into Talbot stirred something deep inside Lucas.
Watching them together both aroused and comforted him.
When Talbot pulled back, she looked up at him with glazed over eyes. “We can do that.”
Lucas expected no less of an answer from Kenna. She would listen to her males when it came to such matters.
“Then I say we leave. I just want to be with the two of you.” Talbot led the way back to the vehicle, instantly falling into the role he craved and coveted, but for how long?
Kim Carmichael. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 5555-5582). After Glows.
The right decisions made at the right time make for an explosive coming together.
A powerful story of love, desire, and fighting for what you believe in.

Her Valentine Surprise
N Kuhn
When Carissa can’t decide between the two men in her life, they come up with a surprise that gives Valentine’s Day a whole new meaning…

Carissa didn’t want to choose, she couldn’t. The two men in her life were very different and each filled a space in her heart.
Kent and JP had met, and decided they liked each other enough to give a ménage relationship a go. Of course Carissa would need to agree to it all as well.
This is a favorite scene as Carissa thinks she has to choose.
“We aren’t saying you need to pick one of us Rissy. We want to see if a weekend together can be… workable.”JP strung his fingers together, webbing them as he spoke. He used his hands often when he spoke as if to amplify everything he said. Raising an eyebrow in confusion, she shifted her gaze back to Kent for clarification.
“What would you say to spending a weekend together? We can see about working a relationship between the three of us. Then you won’t have to choose anyone or feel bad. No one would be left out. JP and I, we get along well. We have you in common. We both love you more than anything, and neither of us is willing to part with you.”
“Yeah. We figured, there has got to be a way we can all get what we want. Kent and I have spent a lot of time together, and to be honest, this idea rocks. It’s the best of all worlds. Plus, he has a kick ass house. I wouldn’t mind crashing there. And it’s like, your Valentine’s Day surprise! This way, we both get to see you.”
Kent shook his head, laughing quietly at JP’s enthusiasm. Carissa watched as he laid a hand on JP’s knee, patting it in a way he did with her constantly. It was true. Kent was successful in all areas of life. The neighborhood he lived in was in a much nicer area than Carissa’s, where the homes cost more than some made in a lifetime. The marble floors were her favorite. She enjoyed sliding around in socks wearing only his shirts. Thoughts of the fun she and JP could have while Kent worked ran through her mind. There was a large backyard. They could have picnics, grow gardens, swim in the massive pool and more. He had more rooms than she could count. Hell, she wasn’t sure she had even seen them all yet.
Fingers snapped in her face, drawing her back to reality where she looked at Kent again.
“You really mean it? I won’t have to lose either of you?” The hope in her voice was almost unbearable, undoing Kent’s strong demeanor, fraying it like an old sweater. He nodded, afraid to speak, his throat closed as he sympathized with her pain.
She was worried about losing them, but he was afraid to lose her. True, he’d spent some time with JP lately, and they’d had fun and realized they each loved her more than life itself.
This just had to work. He didn’t want to think of what would happen if they lost her. Seeing the smile on her face at his suggestion was enough to spring hope in his heart. They would make this work. No matter what. Her eyes sparkled as she moved from the floor to the couch. Wedging between her guys, she wrapped herself in their arms as they discussed the weekend plans.
N Kuhn. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 6137-6160). After Glows.
Kent as a Dom, had never considered a male sub but the weekend proved enlightening. Now to take it all home.
A sensual tale bringing the heat of Ménage to reality.

Heart Of Glass
Riley Murphy
After an angry woman pelts their office building with stones, two strong-willed men devise a challenge. The goal? To turn the gorgeous interloper into a very close friend. Normally, this would be cakewalk, but too late they discover their feminine quarry is the key to solving their much-needed corporate dilemma.

When Wesley Henderson walked in on her boyfriend Keith screwing her bestfriend and roommate on HER bed it was over as far as she was concerned. Everything over the relationship and their future business. Of course he threatens her with blackballing her in the advertising industry, a threat he couldn’t follow through on, but he does cause her problems.Ty Ellington and his partner Sandy Tramaine have a problem. A pretty redheaded problem. Everry day she comes to their building and throws stones at the huge, very expensive advertising mural decorating the side. Today is the day Ty is going to confront her and find out way. This is a favorite scene.
With Sandy’s warning playing in my head about not spooking her, I called, “Good morning.”
She didn’t look at me. “Are you security?”
“No.” I stopped a few feet from her, letting my gaze rove over her as she continued to throw her missiles. She pitched them like a guy which was kind of a turn-on.
“Do you work here?”
I guess I could say yes. It wouldn’t be lying, it just wouldn’t be telling the whole truth. “I do.”
Finally she paused from throwing the last stone to give me the once over. “Well, I know you’re not The Snake. He has black hair and an even blacker expression. The guy’s a real egomaniac. Most days when he enters the building, he pretends like I’m not even here. When he does deign to give me the side-eye, it’s usually by way of a glare.”
I knew she was talking about Sandy, but I pretended like I didn’t. “The Snake?”
“The owner. He drives a black car too. A Mercedes.”
It was a Jaguar actually. I would have corrected her if I wasn’t so caught up by the gleam in her eyes. Green eyes. Light though, like the color of Granny Smith apples only translucent. “Ah…” I drew out. Was this a case of a woman scorned? “He’s done something to offend you, I take it. And it’s more than ignoring your presence some mornings?” I fished for info.
She shrugged and then turned to eye the wall again, examining it as if she was trying to find the perfect spot to hit. “Yes and no. F!” she exclaimed, launching the last stone.
So that’s what she was doing. Spelling out her gripe with the rocks to physically purge her frustrations. “F?”
“Yep.” She took a deep breath and then spoke the next letters as fast as a child would when reciting their ABC’s.
“Keithvegaisathief.” I wasn’t quick enough decoding the message when she did it for me. “Keith. Vega. Is. A. Thief.”
The name sounded familiar, but I couldn’t immediately place it so I moved on to the one thing she did say, that worried me. “That’s not the name of the man who drives the black car.”
“Oh, I know.” She tugged down her sleeves and smiled. The natural action that brightened her cheeks was pleasing, until I realized it was an underlying fury that pinned that mock-pleasant expression on her face. “But he is the bastard who sent me the cease and desist letter. He took that creep’s word without giving me the chance to defend myself.”
She looked away and after a few seconds, she looked back. “I’m sorry. I must sound like a witch.” This time when she smiled it was genuine. “I’m Wesley Henderson, and I promise, I’m not quite as crazy as I appear.” She offered her hand.
After I accepted, and we shook on it, she said, “I’m almost through the death stages. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and this last one,” She curtly nodded toward the mural, “Acceptance.”
She sounded so blasé, I had to laugh. I shot a look to the wall and then raised a brow at her. “The rock shower is what you call acceptance?”
“Yes.”
The way she stared up at me, with a half-smile hovering over her lips and those green eyes dancing with an enigmatic challenge suddenly concerned me. Why? The woman was someone I wanted to get to know much better. Far from the mystery box being spoiled when opened as Sandy had suggested, it was now clear to me her mystic was a force I wanted to embrace. Preferably under a thick blanket on a cool California night.
“I mean, I’m only throwing stones, but…” She pointed right at me. “If there was a God, that building would be made out of glass. You know what I’m saying?”
She was smart all right. “I’m familiar with the idiom.”
“Great.” Her smile was blinding. “Because the idiot that owns that building deserves to be punished.”
Ironic. Punishments were right up Sandy’s alley. The one qualifier? He favored giving them, and not receiving. Meh. That was his mountain to climb with her. I had my own. “What did this Kevin— or was his name Keith— person, steal from you? If you don’t mind me asking.”
She looked down and negligently toe-kicked a couple of the rocks while she seemed to be deciding whether or not to trust me. It was a sobering experience and caused me to respect her all the more for her caution.
“My work.” She looked up and before she could hide it, I saw the worry. It was there in her eyes.
“What kind of—?”
“Oh boy. It’s got to be past eight. I’ve got to go. It was nice talking with you.”
Riley Murphy. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 6833-6877). After Glows.
Now the partners have a couple of problems. One their desire for the red-headed beauty, the other their Ad agency isn’t delivering on the product.
This story heats up in many ways, I love the way it unfurls in
a perfect blend of love, sizzling sex and karma.

Three is a Charm
Amy Brent
Two HOT Billionaires, One Curvy Girl – Eve needs to start over in her new job and these two brothers are just the challenge she needs.

Eve thought she had screwed up her interview with Dominic Weston. She couldn’t help thinking about that one night four years before when she gave herself to him.
Dominic didn’t want to hire Eve for the same reason she thought she messed up the interview. He wanted her even more now than he had when she was eighteen.
Their relationship renews even as they keep it from her parents, her father would never understand his friend with his daughter. What neither expected was her interest in his brother Malcolm.
A favorite scene is when she is reintroduced to Malcolm.
The same girl who Malcolm himself had just been undressing with his eyes.
“Whatever you say, Malcolm,” Dominic laughed. “Anyway, Eve and I have some work to do, so if you don’t mind letting us do that, I’d appreciate it.”
“Sure thing,” he said, reaching for my hand. I assumed Malcolm was going to shake it, but instead, he brought it to his lips and kissed my knuckles. “Great seeing you again, Eve. Perhaps we can grab coffee sometime – ”
“Stop hitting on my employee, Malcolm.” Dominic was laughing, however, so I knew it wasn’t a serious threat. Still, I could see the faint shadow of jealousy on his face.
Dominic was jealous of Malcolm. Which meant that somewhere, deep down, he cared enough about our little arrangement – or about me – to be jealous in the first place.
Just for fun, I decided to play along. “I’d love to, Malcolm. Maybe this weekend?”
“I’ll call you,” Malcolm said with a wink before walking toward the front door. “And I’ll call you too, brother. But not for the same reasons, of course.”
“I sure as hell hope not,” Dominic grumbled.
His jaw was clenched tight and his posture was stiff. As he opened the front door for Malcolm, I could see a shared look between them. It was subtle, but the look was one in which Dominic was asking Malcolm to lay off. As if I was his property and he’d laid claim to me already.
Maybe it shouldn’t have, but it made me bristle. I was no one’s property, nor would I ever be.
Dominic, of course, had other ideas. As soon as he closed the door, shutting his brother out, he came over to me and grabbed my face in his hands, forcing me to stare into his eyes.
“You want to fuck him?” he growled.
“Maybe? What business is it of yours?” I teased.
“I can make that happen,” he said, his hand moving underneath my skirt and up my thigh. “It wouldn’t be the first time we’d shared a girl before.”
Amy Brent. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 9148-9169). After Glows.
This relationship goes from slow and sensuous to a magnificent threesome with a bit of kink.
No declarations of love but damn they have a way of showing how much they care. I kind of wished they had been caught by her parents, if this is going to be more than a fling that has to happen.

Poor White Trash
Sara Wylde
One from the gutter, one from the clouds, the other from a tower in between. Three lost puzzle pieces that didn’t fit on their own might just find the beauty in the bigger picture together.

Charlotte is trying to fit in with the rest of the elite that populates their Hall on Campus. The latest challenge handed out by the Pandora, the leader of this pack is to sleep with the guy whose name you draw.
Charlotte had no problem with that idea, especially when she sees she drew Vance Tinsley-Yates aka The Brat Prince. Hell it’s on her bucket list. However, her protector and friend Jace doesn’t like this idea at all.
This is a favorite scene between Vance and Charlotte with a peek at Pandora’s personality.
She didn’t know how Vance knew, but the way the expression on his face changed, he knew exactly what she was thinking.
“Look, your Charlotte likes the idea.”
“She’s not my Charlotte,” he growled.
“Isn’t she? You rushed over here to lay your claim, didn’t you?” Vance still hadn’t broken eye contact with her. It was as if Jace didn’t concern him in the least.
“No. She’s not mine. She belongs to herself, but you will treat her with respect.”
This time he looked back to Jace. “How have I treated her otherwise? Because I’m going to take her back to my room, if she’d like to come.” That self-satisfied smile was back. “And I’m going to make her scream my name in three languages. Maybe yours, too? I’d say it’s a gift.”
“You would.”
“Jace,” she began again, unsure of what to say.
“Make him at least take you to dinner.” It sounded as if it hurt him to say it.
“That kind of nullifies the whole point of the one-night stand,” Charlotte whispered.
“Fine. You do whatever you want. You always do.” Jace turned away from her. “You know where I am if you need me.”
Pandora’s laughter trilled. “Oh, he’s a dear, isn’t he? How did poor white trash like that ever get into Ridgemont Hall? Rather ugly beast, isn’t he?”
“Well, Pandy,” Vance drawled. “I’d fuck him before I’d fuck you. So do with that what you will.”
She’d been ready to jump to his defense, to chew Pandora’s face off, social suicide be damned. But Vance took care of that for her.
Pandora rolled her eyes. “You’d fuck him for the novelty alone. Run along, now, dollies. Can’t have you lingering in the common area, or no one else will go up. Then all the fun will be over before it begins.”
“Pandora, I do believe you have other guests to harass.”
As soon as she was gone, Charlotte got a sinking feeling in her gut. She knew what she was going to do. It wasn’t at all what she wanted to do.
She couldn’t stand the tone in his voice. The way he made it so clear without even saying so that he was disappointed in her.
“I’m sorry, Vance. I should probably…” She motioned to the stairs.
“Are you sure?”
“No, but—” She finished the sentence with a shrug.
“One more thing,” he said, reaching for her hand. “What if I did take you out? On a real date.”
“Like I told Jace, it defeats the purpose of this one and done thing.” She smiled. “It’s on my bucket list.”
“Here’s what. I like you. I like your curiosity. There’s a softness about you that none of these other girls have. A sparkle. I’m intrigued. I’m also the biggest manwhore on campus. Aside from Wrathboner and Dane. I think we’re tied.” He seemed to consider. “Let’s agree to get to know each other. No strings. We’ll both continue our other pursuits as we choose.”
“I’ll consider it.” She exhaled heavily. “Look, Jace and I are a package deal. If you get me, you get him.”
“Maybe you’ll tell me more about that sometime. Like dinner on Wednesday night.”
“Okay.” Charlotte had not only dipped her toe in the waters, but she’d jumped into the deep end.
Sara Wylde. A Valentine for Two (Kindle Locations 10131-10166). After Glows.
When I think about it this story is less about Charlotte and more about Jace. He is the one with the past, the one sent to school by Charlotte’s parents in gratitude for saving their little girl’s life. It’s his past and his anger that keep him away from Charlotte.
Everything heats up quickly from this point, not only with Charlotte and Jace but also Jace and Vance.
If there is going to be a them, Charlotte and Vance need to break down Jace’s walls. Not an enviable task.
I loved the progression from anger to love and back again. I think I’d like to see more of the trio.

A Valentine’s Deal
TL Reeve
An interview will only take an hour, but what Sullivan and Carter offer Sierra can last a lifetime.

Sierra was angry at her boss. She’d put in to take off Valentine’s day for a reason. She was tired of the hype of the day and only wanted to curl up with some wine, and a good book. Her boss would have none of it, he wanted this Valentine’s day story and she was the only one who could do it justice.
Sullivan wasn’t happy with his partner Carter, Wolfsbane is a paranormal club and although humans are allowed this interview and subsequent story would bring many more to the club. A club where paranormals could possibly find their true mate.
However the publicity for this Masquerade event would do much for the club and help put the building’s past into history where it belongs.
This is a favorite scene when the three meet for the initial interview.
Every single inch of her came to life in a wash of arousal and lust. The woodsy scent emanating from him fueled her desire, leaving her a bit dizzy and hypnotized.
“You must be from the Los Angeles Daily. It’s good to meet you.” Her cheeks heated the moment his lips brushed across her knuckles. He glanced up at her, and the devilish twinkle in his eyes sent a thrill of longing through her. The corner of his mouth curled into a predatory, panty-soaking smirk. “I didn’t leave you waiting long, I hope.”
British. The accent added a bit more to his sex appeal. But still, she guarded herself. Didn’t need to go climbing him like a tree during the middle of their meeting— even if the idea sound good right about now. Is it hot in here, or is it just me?
She flicked her gaze to him, and he gave her a wicked grin.
Caught. Shit.
She shook her head, almost afraid to speak. “No, not at all. This is Jerry, my assistant.” The breathy quality of her voice irritated her. No one got under her skin. It’d been a quality she prided herself on, and in less than five minutes, he had.
“Good to meet you.” He shook her partner’s hand. “Sullivan is a little tied up at the moment, but he’ll be here shortly.” Carter ushered them into his office. “I have to say; this is one of the first interviews we’ve granted for the club and this building.”
“Well, the building is steeped in history.” She gazed around the masculine, industrial space. Unlike the hall, this area had the original brick and mortar façade. Steel and wood shelving lined the side walls, while a giant oak desk dominated the space. To the left, another couch like she’d been sitting on in the waiting area faced her, along with a small coffee table and an entertainment center. The room fit the man in front of her. “Most of it is bad though.”
He nodded. “It’s a tragedy.” Carter lowered his voice and leaned forward. “I’ll let you in on a little secret.”
She crept closer, drawn in by the raspy tone of his voice.
“I didn’t think the club would work. I thought we’d be shut down and forced out within the first six months of business.” He pointed to the richly finished, walnut sideboard. “Drink?” quick change in conversation.
“Cherry soda.”
“A girl after my own heart.” He opened a fridge she hadn’t seen, and pulled out a can of regular soda, then grabbed the cherry syrup from between the bottles of alcohol. “I’m sorry I don’t have fresh cherries to add to your drink. I hope you don’t mind.”
Heck, she’d been prepared for pre-made soda, she didn’t mind this one bit. After he stirred her drink, he lifted the stirring stick to his mouth and licked the dripping and excess syrup from it. Her heart skipped a beat. Again, the aching throb of her clit intensified. Who the hell was this man?
His admission surprised her, as did the “It’s okay. I would have settled for a can.”
He laughed as he brought her the tumbler. “Anything for you, Jerry?”
Her partner glanced at her, then to Carter. “Water?”
“Sure thing.” He grabbed the bottle from the fridge. “Ice?”
“Nah. I’m good.”
He handed the bottle to her assistant, then took a seat behind the desk. “Where are my manners.” He scoffed and motioned to the wing-backed chairs in front of him. “Please, sit.”
“Was your worry due to the criminal activity or something else?” She sat, easing back into the welcoming comfort.
“Yes, all of it. This building is said to be haunted. Some people come here to” —he made air quotes— “investigate. Others to try and find the burned-out areas of the basement.” He folded his hands. “We’re not here to be a sideshow or to ogled like freaks.”
She frowned. “Does it interfere with your business?”
“The lookie-loos?” He swirled the amber liquid in his glass.
“Yes.”
“I feared they would. However, people have been… courteous.” He glanced up as the door opened. “Ah, you made it. Sullivan, these are our guests.”
The man stopped short and turned his golden gaze on her. Boom. Pregnant. The thought simultaneously surprised her and made her chuckle, which led to embarrassment. She cleared her throat.
“It’s good to meet you. I’m Sierra Hanover, and this is my assistant Jerry Rodrick.” She motioned to her friend. Jesus, what the hell had she gotten herself into?
