A Kindle World Novella
KaLyn Cooper
Terrorists want her…but so does he.
Isaac believes this personal protection assignment in Big Sky, Montana is going to be filled with skiing novice slopes all day and spending his nights fending off unwanted pursuers of the pampered daughter of two Atlanta physicians. He couldn’t be more wrong. Hannah Kader was an officer in the all-female YPG Battalion in the Syrian Army, and ISIS wants her, preferably alive. The chase isn’t the only thing that heats up when the flint of the former SEAL strikes against the steel of the woman warrior.
Snow SEAL is a Guardian Security crossover with Elle James’s Brotherhood Protectors. If you enjoy heart-pounding, military romance interwoven with sizzling passion, you’ll like the fourth book in this novella series.
Buy this book and let KaLyn Cooper take you on a thrill ride through the Montana mountains.
Isaac Snow is on his first assignment for Guardian Security. Arriving early in Big Sky he took advantage of the time to do some skiing and visit with friends Hank and Axel. Hank had offered him a job at Brotherhood Protectors, but he really doesn’t want to return to Montana and Guardian is a perfect fit for him.
He has many surprises in store for him when he meets the woman whom he believes to be the pampered daughter of physicians. As he tests her abilities he finds himself more than a little impressed by Hannah Kader. As they get to know each other he finds himself attracted to her and she to him. The struggle to keep everything professional with visual and audio surveillance all over the house is frustrating for them both.
A calm and secure stay is not to be as they are forced from the supposed secure home by ISIS attackers.
A favorite scene is at the end of that altercation.
“I’ve got this,” Hannah said as she shoved him toward the other side. “You just be prepared to shoot if they decide to follow us.” She flung open the front door and threw her bag on the center console then jogged to the back, clumsily shucking off her backpack. Skis, that were as long as her body, made handling the heavy backpack awkward. Isaac didn’t have near as much problem, and shoved hers in on top of his before quietly closing the hatch. No need to advertise their location.
“Where are those tangoes?” Isaac asked in a low, quiet voice.
“They’re spreading out. Closest one is 1,500 feet. He’s tracking you down the trees.” Thankful Guardian Security had his back, Isaac was even more grateful for Alex’s connections at the highest levels. At that moment, they had their own satellite.
As he slid onto the other seat, Hannah was jamming the key into the ignition. “I’ve been told they train SEALs to steady a shot while standing on a boat in the middle of a rolling ocean. I hope you can apply those skills to a moving car.” She opened the roof.
“Brings all new meaning to riding shotgun,” Isaac said as he dug his M4 out of his duffel before shoving it into the back seat.
