TL Reeve and Michele Ryan
Caden Raferty messed up—big time. He’s turned his back on his family and friends, but most of all his mate, Danielle Blueriver.
Danielle is done with love and done with Caden. After two near death experiences, she’s regressed into herself, not wanting to be seen or heard. Her life is crumbling down around her and the only thing giving her the will to live are her boys, Aiden and Nicolas.
But, an old foe isn’t done with either of them, and once again, they are thrust together in a situation neither can get out of.
Can Danielle and Caden find their path to happiness this time, or will the sins of their past destroy their future?
Caden has really messed everything up when he went into a total downspin. Now finally sober, he needs to make amends with his mate and his children. He doesn’t even know Nic, since he believed the word of a now dead psycho.
Danielle has been neglecting herself and concentrating on Aiden and Nic. She doesn’t really understand the mating process or what’s going on with her body, and she’s lost a lot of weight. A fact she’s been hiding from everyone.
When another orphan shows up with a lot of injuries her and Keeley take on a couple of helpers for the new orphanage. But the child’s appearance has far more significance.
Raymond Quincy, Tiffany and Marjorie are the prime suspects in that child’s abuse. Quincy is also the reason they have a lion pride with them in Window Rock. He forced Rapier and his pack to flee for their lives, as he has done with other packs.
Rapier is instrumental in helping Caden, sort of take the bull by the horns. But he has some issues of his own.
Even as Caden begins to reconcile with his mate Danielle, bond with his son and make amends to Aiden, plots begin to emerge. Keeping their families and pack safe is the highest priority. Second is finding the traitor among them and getting rid of Quincy once and for all.
