Broken isn’t forever.
It’s time I worked on myself and my mental health.
I won’t give up.
Broken can’t be forever.
What happened to Eli still haunts my thoughts
no matter what I do to block it out.
Broken won’t be forever.
I see Lauren in myself and it hurts.
I see Kenzo and Atticus and it hurts.
I run into Saint and Ambrose and it hurts.
Then there’s Drake,
so determined to reopen
the wounds of the past.
Please don’t let broken be forever.
The end of Fractured dealt a blow. I didn’t see it coming at all. The guys aren’t with Lilith at all, she made it all up and committed herself after the intervention with Atticus, Kenzo and Harper.
While we know Atticus and Kenzo are actual people since they were part of the intervention, we don’t if Saint and Ambrose are. Then there’s Drake and his need to know the truth about what happened to his brother. Now Lilith is home and on medication, she needs a job and finds one the next town over. She wants less of a chance of running into the people who were part of her delusion. Of course the best laid plans and all. She also has a new psychiatrist, one better suited to her needs.
We get to meet the guys again, this time as who they really are. Everything we thought we knew is now different. Every time Lilith meets up with one of them, she needs to anchor herself to be sure it’s real and not another break. She also needs to decide whether or not to visit her mother, Lauren.
My heart went out to her with each encounter. These guys, and I am including Drake in this, are pretty darn awesome!
I couldn’t stop reading, I had to know the truth about everything and where this would all lead.
A true journey of healing and love.

She attended ten different schools growing up, so books became her constant friend. Escaping into books of all different genres made life fun and exciting. Blake was also raised on music and still blasts it through the house and car at every opportunity.
She has a weird sense of humor and a penchant for chocolate milk. It only makes sense she would one day go on to write her own stories.
