Malachi Bale, a Liaison Army Intelligence Officer for Homeland Security is sent to the scenic town of Mystic, Connecticut on a temporary assignment with the Defense Investigative Service to gather and analyze intel on a possible terrorist attack. The link is his ex-girlfriend Winona. However Malachi’s suspects he hasn’t been given all the information. He’s afraid for Winona and her father’s fiancé so he’s going to stay with them while he helps her look for the paperwork or whatever it really is they want from her.

Of course that also leads to a rekindling of their attraction so along with all the intrigue and suspense there’s some sizzle.
