Olivia has some issues with getting close to a man, largely due to her father and his treatment of her and her siblings. She was getting too involved with Dylan and backed away.

Dylan didn’t understand and he’s not one to give up easily. He’s determined to break down Olivia’s walls. He loves her and isn’t going anywhere a point he makes very clear at her birthday party and the day after.

This is a favorite scene.

The door swung open, and Dylan strode in. Speak of the devil, she thought.

Today was casual, no meetings, meaning he wore a pair of black slacks and a white collared shirt open at the neck, revealing a sprinkling of his dark—mouthwatering—hair. His sleeves were rolled up, and she found that even his forearms were muscular and sexy.

“Morning, sunshine.” He treated her to a heart-stopping smile.

She swallowed hard. “Good morning.”

“Got a minute?” he asked.

She nodded.

He shut the door behind him. “You look sexy in those glasses.”

With shaking hands, she pulled them off, suddenly self-conscious.

“You’re sexy without them too.” He started toward her desk, where his gift sat front and center.

It was too much to hope he wouldn’t notice.

The big grin on his face told her she was out of luck.

He sat on the corner of her desk and folded his arms across his chest. “So?” he asked, his knowing gaze on the incriminating box.

Better to face it head on, she decided. “Thank you, Dylan. It’s beautiful.”

“But you’re not wearing it.” His lips turned down, and she suddenly felt awful and didn’t want to disappoint him or hurt his feelings.

“I was just about to put it on.” His gaze held hers for more than a few seconds before he picked up the velvet box and took out the necklace. “Turn,” he said in a gruff voice.

She stood and pivoted around. He stepped up behind her, his body heat already testing her resolve.

“Hair.”

She tilted her head forward and raised her long hair off her neck, allowing him to slide the necklace in place and engage the small hook. Instead of him moving away, she suddenly sensed him closer.

His breath fanned her neck, warm air causing a wave of arousal to nearly knock her off her feet.

“What are you—” She couldn’t continue, not when his lips skimmed her neck, and her words morphed into more of a moan. His mouth was warm, and he lingered, inhaling her where she stood. Her nipples puckered beneath the silk of her tank, and she grabbed on to the desk for support.

“Do you want to know why I gave this to you? Why I call you sunshine?” His words vibrated against her skin, but he didn’t give her a chance to reply. “It’s because when I come in to work every morning, seeing you lights up my day.”

Oh God. “That’s—”

“Corny but true.” He grasped her shoulders to keep her steady and rimmed her outer ear with his tongue.

He lit a fuse that ran straight to her core. Suddenly that was all she was aware of, the pulsing of her sex, her damp panties, and her heavy breasts, all three achy and needing his touch more than her next breath.

She wanted to turn, throw herself into his arms, and kiss him for all she was worth. Wrap her legs around his waist and—

A quick knock and her door opened wide. Riley, her sister-in-law, strode in, speaking as she walked. “I wanted to talk to you about—Oh!” She came to a halt. Took in Olivia and Dylan, and a big smile crossed her face. “Looks like I’m interrupting,” she said but made no move to leave.

Olivia tried to step away, but Dylan’s hands on her arms held her tight.

“Dylan and I were just—umm . . . I mean, Dylan came to discuss the trip to Arizona for the Pro Bowl, didn’t you?” she asked in a rush, grasping for a business-related reason for him to be in her office. Not that anything would explain how close they stood or how his lips had been on her neck . . .

Dylan merely looked amused. “Apparently, yes. I’m here to talk about the trip.” He stepped away, but his hand dropped, skimming Olivia’s lower back. “We can pick this discussion up at lunch,” he said.

“Lunch?” she asked, parroting his words because her entire body was still tingling, unable to process what had just happened between them. What would have happened if Riley hadn’t barged in?

It wasn’t much. It was everything. Shit.

“Lunch,” he stated. “I’ll come get you at noon.” He turned to her and winked.

She ignored that in favor of his overbearing push to make plans she hadn’t agreed to. “Don’t I get a say?” she asked. “What if I already have plans?”

Ignoring Riley’s amused grin, Dylan met her gaze. “I gave you a say for the last couple of months. I decided that it’s my turn. See you at noon.” His fingers glided over her hand as he walked out. “Nice to see you, Riley,” he said, disappearing out the door.
Phillips, Carly. Dare to Touch (Dare to Love Book 3). CP Publishing. Kindle Locations (147-190). Kindle Edition.

This relationship has a lot of ups and downs even as the two of them deal with a young player and his interfering family at the Pro Bowl.

Lots of romance, some suspense and plenty of heat will keep you turning the pages.

review-fall-cornucopia

Alex Dare just took a hit that ended his football career, instead of embracing the support and love from family and his girlfriend Madison, he pushes everyone away. The way he pushed Madison ended the relationship painfully.

Now he’s offered a job with the Thunder. He needs to do something and this could be right up his alley. Even though a bit uncomfortable since it’s a rival team, and who he’ll be working with, interesting.

This is a favorite scene.

He walked in to find the office as imposing as the man himself. Alex and Ian couldn’t be more different in personality—Ian stiff and uptight, Alex easygoing and relaxed.

“Thanks for coming,” Ian said, extending his hand.

Alex shook it hard. Man to manthought wryly and settled into a chair, making himself comfortable. Sitting across from Ian, Alex acknowledged how far their relationship had progressed. They were in the same room and having a conversation. It was huge.

“Before we go into the conference room, I wanted to fill you in on the proposition I have for you.”

“I’m listening.”

Ian inclined his head. “You must realize that your injury brought to light the deficit in the league as far as preparing our players for life after the game.”

Alex stiffened, as he always did when talk of his career-ending concussion arose.

Ian ignored his reaction and went on. “The fact is, you could have continued to play, taken the risk, and down the road, you’d have been dealing with severe head trauma and mental deficits. You were smart enough to step back. Not a lot of guys are.”

Alex raised an eyebrow. “You’re complimenting me?”

Ian rolled his eyes. “But now that you’re retired at the age of twenty-six, what do you plan to do with your life?” He held up a hand before Alex could answer. “Hang on. That question is part of why I asked you here. It’s also a question the league should want all players to consider before they’re injured and forced out of the game.”

“Where are you going with this?” Alex asked, warning himself not to get defensive.

Ian cleared his throat. “I plan to institute a training program that teaches the players to think about the future, do smart things with their money, and take informational classes that will prepare them for later on.”

Interested, Alex merely studied the other man and waited.

“Did you know seventy-eight percent of retired athletes are broke within two to five years?” Ian asked. Without waiting for an answer, he continued. “Statistics show fifty percent of ex-pro football player marriages end in divorce because couples aren’t ready for the pressures of life after the game. So I want spouses involved in preparation and education.”

“You’ve really thought about this,” Alex said, impressed despite himself and his lingering resentment of Ian.

Ian inclined his head. “It’s in motion. I have a social worker on board, and I want you running things along with her.”

Alex reared back in surprise. “Why me?”

He and Ian weren’t close. Ian came from their father’s legitimate family. Alex and his siblings were the man’s illegitimate secrets. But secrets didn’t stay buried, and the explosion, when it had come, had rocked both families deeply. Alex and Ian had remained on opposing sides for ten years.

Until Riley.

Ian cleared his throat. “Why not you? Or should I say, who other than you? You will have the unique ability to convince the players this is important. You definitely have media presence when this goes public. And let’s face it, you have nothing else lined up at the moment.”

“And there’s the asshole I know.”

Ian grinned. He fucking grinned, as if he already had Alex exactly where he wanted him.

“Come meet the woman in charge before you make any decisions.”

Alex nodded. Why not? He was impressed with the program and interested.

As he followed Ian to the conference room, passing the hall of champions, life-sized photos of past and present Thunder all-stars, Alex still wondered why Ian had chosen him. But he couldn’t deny the importance or brilliance of the program. There were so many ways guys’ lives did a one-eighty after retirement, forced or otherwise, that training and preparation would only help.

“Riley’s really behind the idea,” Ian said as they approached the closed wooden door.

“Way to try and sway me, man.”

Ian shrugged. “I do what I have to in order to get my way.” He paused and looked Alex in the eye. “So about the woman who will be working alongside you—”

“I haven’t agreed.”

“About her,” Ian went on as if Alex hadn’t spoken. “I’m trusting you to be professional.”

Alex narrowed his gaze, his internal radar on high alert.

“And to not be a jerk.”

“Hey!”

Without replying, Ian opened the door. They stepped into the room, and Alex laid eyes on the one woman he hadn’t been expecting to see. The same woman who’d haunted his dreams and sidetracked him from many of his nightmares.

Madison faced him head on. Her shoulders drawn back, golden-blonde hair pulled away from her face, she didn’t back down from his stare. She wore a pair of black slacks that hugged her curves and a white silky-looking top that clung to her generous breasts. And those unusually blue eyes frosted over at the sight of him.

“Alex, I believe you know Madison Evans.”

Blindsided—and his half brother knew it—Alex strode up to her.

So much to deal with especially since neither Alex or Madison have truly gotten over their relationship.

There are many twists and turns as this story unfolds. There are conflicts, tears, laughter and plenty of sizzle to keep you turning the pages.

She arouses his dominant and protective instincts
And he will do anything to possess her …
And does.

When billionaire Ian Dare gets one glimpse of the sensual and irresistible Riley Taylor, he knows that he must have her. But any future he might have with Riley means he’ll have to confront his past — a past he’d rather forget. And that’s something this NFL team owner won’t dare to do — not even for love.

review-fall-cornucopia

To say the Dare siblings have a strained relationship is indeed an understatement. Robert Dare has two separate families, one with his wife, the other with his mistress. Circumstances led to him revealing the existence of his second family and as this book opens he is now married to said mistress. Ian is the oldest and is the owner of the Miami Thunder Football Team. As such he is very involved in the charity work the team supports. It’s at one such event with his mother and his siblings that he first sees Riley, unfortunately she’s on his half-brother Alex’s arm.

There’s a lot to the story of this family, there is plenty of animosity especially between the brothers of the two separate families of Robert Dare.

Riley is Alex’s best friend, he’s always been there for her and she considers him family, but he’s definitely in the friend zone. Riley has some problems, the company she works for was sold and the new owners are bringing in their own people. In a Hail-Mary attempt to save her job she pulls the possibility of an in with the Miami Thunder as a new client.

Why she thought this could possibly work when she only met Ian once? Even she doesn’t have an answer for that. The time allotted for her to pull this off is short and unfortunately during NFL draft week.

At first Ian is curious about the message from Riley, the kiss they shared still haunting him. He decides not to return the call because Alex had told him to back off.

The first person Riley turns to is of course Alex and he in turn confronts Ian, letting him know he’s screwed up. This happens in front of their father and Ian makes a deal with the ‘devil’ to get her contact information.

This is a favorite scene.

By the time she arrived home, she was exhausted. It didn’t help that during the drive home, she’d mentally mapped out her future options, which mostly consisted of sending resumes to the big sports and distribution chains, some out of state. The thought of having to start over, prove her worth, and work her way back up the corporate ladder once more made her sick.

She loved Miami and didn’t want to leave her stepmother or Alex and her other friends. There were other smaller local companies she planned to scope out, so all wasn’t lost yet. And until all was lost, she wouldn’t mention it to Alex. He’d only get upset and insist on helping. Obviously, people would bend over backward to help the superstar, and his best friend by extension, but Riley really wanted to try to find a job on her own first.

She let herself into her building, walked up one flight to her apartment, and was startled to find someone waiting outside her door. Even in the dimly lit hall, she recognized Ian Dare’s tall frame, dark hair, and handsome features. Excitement bubbled up inside her, followed by wariness.

“Finally,” he said, leading her to believe he’d been standing there awhile.

She fought against her rapidly beating heart. “What are you doing here?”

He pushed off the wall and strode toward her. “Do you realize I walked into the building without being buzzed in? I just followed behind a couple who were too busy groping each other to pay attention to who was entering behind them.”

He didn’t have to further sum up his point. Riley already knew the argument well from Alex and her stepmom. “It’s perfectly safe. I carry mace, and I’m careful. And you still haven’t answered my question.”

Ian ran a hand through his hair, taking the time to tamp down on the anger that had been brewing inside him as he waited for her in this tiny hall that, despite her claim, was far from safe.

Not for a woman with her full breasts and curvy hips. Not for a woman with that mass of untamed hair and wild beauty, dressed in a short denim skirt with a ruffled edge and black sleeveless top that bared a hint of her stomach.

He fought for control over his libido and the desire to take her in every way imaginable. “I realize I didn’t return your call, but I’m here now.”

She met his gaze, brave and unwavering. “Go home. Whatever I needed from you, it’s too late now.”

His eyes narrowed. “That’s what Alex said, but he refused to elaborate. He said it was your business, so I came to the source. I was busy this week. I had meetings for the draft, and I couldn’t call you back.”

She raised an eyebrow. “Bull. I’m guessing there are a whole host of reasons why you didn’t get back to me. At the top of the list is that you hate Alex.”

“I don’t hate him.” He clenched his hands and released them again, searching for focus. “Riley, you left me a message. Just tell me why.”

“It’s too late.” She walked toward him as she spoke.

She passed him by, heading for her door, key in hand. “I already lost my job,” she said as she slipped inside her apartment.

The door slammed closed behind her, leaving him basking in her scent.

“Son of a bitch.” He knocked hard.

When she didn’t answer, he tried again.

And again.

Worst-case scenario, he’d settle into the hallway for the night and wait to catch her when she left again in the morning. Unwilling to do that, he banged on the door again.

In the middle of his knock, she swung the door open wide.

“Fine. Come in,” she said, her eyes narrowed and wary.

He stepped inside. Once enclosed in her small apartment, her luscious scent wrapped around him once more. His cock took a definite hit as desire filled him along with that burning need only she inspired. Knowing those feelings wouldn’t be welcome, he took in her space. Bright colors on the walls, eclectic pieces of furniture, and a warm feel. She knew how to take a tiny area and make it feel like a true home.

“Can I get you something to drink?” she asked.

“No. I just want to know what happened.”

She expelled a deep breath, causing her breasts to rise and fall beneath the flimsy material. He glanced down, trying not to ogle her cleavage because that made him want to test the weight of her breasts. And once he started touching her, he wouldn’t be able to stop. Instead, he noticed her toenails were painted a bright orange, one toe surrounded by a thin silver ring. Even her fucking feet were sexy.

“I worked for Blunt Sporting Goods,” she said, unaware of his train of thought. “I was head of their distribution and sales department. The company was sold; the new boss is an ass and began laying people off. I pulled a Hail Mary and told him I had an in with you, that I could get some of our products distributed to the team. He gave me until Friday to get back to him with something substantial. I called. You didn’t. End of story.” She strode over to the door and swung it open, obviously eager to get rid of him.

He stared in stunned surprise. “You told him that after meeting me for the first time on Saturday night?”

She raised her chin. “Yep.”

“After our kiss.”

Her cheeks turned a healthy pink. “Mmm-hmm.”

“After you walked away from me without a second glance.”

She blinked up at him. “I looked back,” she said softly.

He narrowed his gaze. “You’ve got nerve.”

“So I’ve been told.” She grinned.

He smiled back.

She obviously realized they were sharing a moment and turned off the megawatt grin. “So now you know. You can go now.” She tilted her chin toward the hallway.

Pride. She had it in spades and didn’t like him knowing she’d lost her job. He respected that. Too bad he wasn’t about to leave her now.

He shook his head, silently telling her he was staying. The guilt he’d felt when his brother told him he’d caused Riley problems was only magnified now that he knew how. Based on how angry Alex had been on her behalf, he cared about her deeply. He looked after her. And that was something else Ian could respect. Friendship with his half brother, Ian could work around.

But first, there was the issue of her job.

“I realize you don’t know me, but you’re going to. Because you brought me into your world by calling me, I caused a problem for you. Now I’m obligated to fix it.”

She leaned against the still-open door. “You can’t, because we both know you’re committed to whoever you already purchase from, and I shouldn’t have opened my big mouth.”

So she’d realized the way of things in the business. Although that ought to alleviate his guilt over her losing her job, it didn’t. “Maybe not, but if I’d returned your call, there are other people I could have referred you to who could have given your company business.”

“We’ll never know, now will we?”

“About that? No.” Pretending to be tough and unconcerned didn’t fool him for a second.

She lived in this building, in a not-great part of town, because it was all she could afford. With Ian’s background in owning investment property, he could figure out her approximate income and rent and knew, though she might have a small savings, she couldn’t afford to be unemployed for an extended period of time. So she’d panicked and called him, which meant he owed her.

But that wasn’t why he was still here. He wanted to help. She might not let his brother do it, but Ian damned well intended to.

“What are your plans now?” he asked.

She slowly shut the door, obviously realizing he had no intention of leaving. “I’ll send out resumes like any job-seeking person would,” she said, as if he were dense not to have figured her next step out for himself.

“Or you could come work for me.”

The color drained from her face. “You’re offering me a job. With the Thunder.”

He nodded.

“Doing . . . ?”

If she was questioning, she wasn’t saying no, and his heart rate sped up at the possibility of seeing her day in and day out. “That remains to be seen. I know we have some openings. We’ll see what fits best.”

She swallowed hard and remained silent, but the color had returned to her cheeks. “So I wouldn’t be working directly for you.”

Interesting—the thought of working with him flustered her. Good, because that meant she wasn’t immune, no matter how high a wall she’d erected between them.

“No, you won’t be working for me. I can’t have that.”

She wrinkled her nose, making him want to reach out and stroke her soft skin.

“Why not?” she asked.

He stepped closer, and when she didn’t back away, closer still, until mere inches separated them. “Because I intend to get to know you personally, Riley Taylor. So I can’t be mixing business with pleasure.”
Phillips, Carly. Dare to Love (pp. 32-38). CP Publishing. Kindle Edition.

Even though Ian wasn’t her boss, the job with the Thunder presents a problem or two. Especially with Ian’s interest.

A fun tale with sibling rivalry, romance, and sizzling heat!

I have already started a re-read of the next book in this series.

review-fall-cornucopia

I originally read this in Carly’s newsletter, but I didn’t remember it until I started reading.

I love the Dare family and I have read the whole Dare to Love series although I haven’t yet reviewed them all. I’ll have to get on that!

This is a short and steamy read as the holiday approaches. Ian and Riley haven’t had much alone time, Riley is exhausted and pushing to get the holiday shopping done. When Ian calls she is sure his family is growing as they speak since she realized there were folks she didn’t have on her list. Now he’s meeting her at home.

This is a favorite scene.

“Ian?” she called out.

“Right here.” He stood in the center of the family room, a red scarf in his hand.

“What’s going on?” she asked, a spark of excitement shooting through her at the obvious silk garment he’d used on her before.

“Come here,” he said in a commanding voice she hadn’t heard in too long.

A full body tremor took hold. Her nipples puckered, as if even they remembered the times he’d use that voice right before pinning her to the wall, her hands above her head, his lips on hers, his hard cock pressing into the softness of her sex.

She stepped towards him. “Why is that out now?” she asked, pointing to the scarf, her physical awareness of what was obviously to come a tangible, exciting thing.

“Turn around.”

She swallowed and did as he asked. He wrapped the scarf around her eyes and tied it behind her head. “Now you’re mine.”

Her heat pounded hard in her chest. “I’ve always been yours,” she murmured. “What is going on?”

“You’ll see,” he said and before he could argue, he lifted her up and into his arms.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and held on as he carried her through the house and outside into the warmer air. He placed her in a car, then settled in beside her.

So he was in the back too, she mused. They were obviously in a limousine, Ian’s favorite form of travel.

“I have to pick up the kids,” she reminded him.

“All taken care of.” He slid her skirt up her thigh and placed his hand on her bare skin. She shivered at his masculine touch.
Carly Phillips. A Very Dare Christmas (Kindle Locations 57-70). Carly Phillips.

Once on the private plane, Ian reveals where he’s taking her and after reassuring her his mother can handle the children he concentrates on her.

I can’t say much about the book without giving things away but I love this book! These two are so perfect together and the romance and heat is off the charts sizzling.

I am going to go back and do a re-read of their story in Dare to Love.

Thank you for releasing this story to everyone Carly. It reminded me why I love these books.

A Sexy Series / Dare Standalone

When Faith Lancaster’s mother died, her brother Colton found out he was disinherited. To say he wasn’t happy about that is an understatement, and he is the reason that Faith left her small hometown.New York is a huge city and easy to get lost in, and with a new name Faith has felt safe and her candy business is starting to grow. She had an idea to spread the word about her shop, and that’s when things start to go awry. A flat tire prevents her from delivering baskets of her candy to local businesses.

Jason Dare is a partner in successful night club near Faith’s business. He is headed to a meeting with his cousin when he sees Faith kicking an old delivery van with a flat tire. Being the man he is he stops to help. In thanks Faith gives him one of the baskets, but refuses a dinner date.

Jason finds he can’t stop thinking about Faith and that slashed tire, so when his cousin’s wife calls him about the candy he left with Gabe it’s the perfect excuse to make contact. What he sees when he arrives at Faith’s shop sets off all of his protective instincts and he does what the Dare’s always do. He starts to fix everything and more starting with convincing Faith to move in with him for her own protection.

This is a favorite scene.

She already understood he was more complicated than his surface grin led her to believe. A sister who’d conquered childhood leukemia, a college friend who’d died under mysterious circumstances, a nightclub and a life she knew nothing about. She wanted to know everything and that was dangerous.

Still, she owed him, and though she didn’t think he truly felt that tit for tat was necessary, she did. If it was a date he wanted, then she’d go out with him. At this point, it could no longer hurt. Colton had already found her. He was probably watching her shop as all this activity occurred. Did it really matter if she went out with Jason after this? It was obvious the man was a part of her life, as her friend, at the very least.

He’d settled into a chair in the center of the shop, surveying the work going on around him. He’d already left once, returning with sandwiches and sodas for everyone. As the hours passed and he vacillated between returning messages on his phone and talking to the workmen he obviously knew, she grew more confused.

“Don’t you have somewhere else to be?” she asked him.

He raised an eyebrow as if to say, Really? “Nowhere more important. I want to make sure the work here is done correctly and this place looks exactly the way you want it.”

She appreciated his thoughtfulness, but he had to have better things to do than worry about her. “Okay, but I can handle that. I don’t want to take up more of your day than I already have. I can stick around until the guys are finished, lock up, and head home.”

He folded his strong arms over his chest, his olive-green Henley pulling tight over his muscles. “And do you think I’m going to leave you here alone after what you told me about your brother?”

She’d been pushing thoughts of Colton aside all day. “I have pepper spray on my keychain.” The words sounded ridiculous, even to her.

She was no match for her brother, and if he was strung out? He’d have a wiry strength she couldn’t handle. She knew that firsthand, memories of her hands trying to pull his wrists off her neck very clear in her mind.

“Okay, fine. I appreciate you making sure I get home safely.” She’d be a fool to fight Jason’s protective nature.

“You still don’t get it. But you will.” He shook his head, amusement warring with a more serious expression. “You’re coming home with me, sweetness. I’m not leaving you here or in that shitty walk-up with a crappy lock your brother could break with one good kick.”

“Hey! That’s my apartment you’re insulting!” And all she could afford.

“It’s only an insult if I’m wrong.” He studied her, as if daring her to argue.

“I can’t just move in with you!”

He sighed. “Fine. You need someone to vouch for me? We can call my partners. Or my sister. Or… Hey, Sam! Am I trustworthy?” Jason yelled out to the man who was just climbing down a ladder, her clean window staring back at her.

Sam strode up to them and looked from Jason to Faith and back again. “Best man I know. Take a look at this.” Reaching into his pocket, Sam pulled out his phone, then began scrolling through his pictures. “This is my girl.” He turned the phone so Faith could see a picture of a grinning little pixie with a bright smile and a pom-pom hat on her bald head, no hair hanging down beneath the folded brim.

“She’s beautiful,” Faith said, sliding her finger over her face.

“And if it wasn’t for this guy introducing us to his sister, I don’t think my wife and I would have made it through the roughest parts of her illness.” He shoved his phone back into his pocket.

Looking up at Jason from beneath her lashes, she caught a flush on his cheeks.

“It just so happens I could help you, man. But I’m glad Sienna could do her part. She loves fundraising and doing anything she can for kids who’ve been through what she has.”

Faith would like to help her one day, when there was no danger following her around, she thought sadly. For now, though, she had to fight through her own problems and not bring them into other people’s lives.

“Thanks, Sam.” Jason all but dismissed his friend, who waved and walked back to the other guy helping him.

“So? Still think I’m a serial killer?” Jason asked her.

“I never said–”

“Oh, by the way, my cousin ate one of your marshmallow pops and went crazy for them. She’d like you to contact her about doing the party favors for her son’s birthday party. So now I’m hooking you up with business. I really think you can trust me to keep you safe.” He grinned at his smug proclamation.

She wanted to smack him … and kiss him at the same time. He had her head spinning, and she knew that was his intention. To keep her off-balance and win her over at the same time. So she was too overwhelmed to say no to his proposition about her moving in with him.

But she had to be smart about things. “I’m not questioning your ability to keep me safe, I’m wondering why you’re taking me on as your responsibility?” Her tone along with her emotions sobered.

He grasped her hand and pulled her into the back kitchen area, where they could be alone. Backing her against the prep counter, his big body hovered over hers.

“From the second we met, there was a connection between us. I felt it and so did you. Then I ignored your tire and my gut screaming it was more than vandalism, and this happened. Now I know I should have paid attention.” He drew a deep breath.

So did she and his delicious cologne swept over her. She steeled herself against his appeal because what they were discussing now was deadly serious.

“There’s a lot about me I don’t talk about,” he went on. “I’m not saying never, I’m just saying for now. All you need to understand is that I’ve been in this situation before, being able to possibly prevent something bad from happening and ignoring my gut. I won’t do that again. So when I say you’re coming home with me? I mean it.”

This was the second time he’d mentioned the connection between them, and despite her wariness, she agreed that there was one. But if she went to his home, it had to be about necessity, not desire.

“Thank you.” She appreciated his honesty and felt he deserved hers in return. “I’ll come with you, but connection or not, we’re not sleeping together.”

An amused smirk pulled at that sexy mouth. “I was planning on giving you your own room.”

“Oh.” Now she felt stupid and her cheeks burned with embarrassment.

He brushed his hand down her cheek and her body trembled with awareness. “But if you get scared in the middle of the night, feel free to come sleep with me.”

He acts like he barely knows her.
But she knows he’s the one.

Matt Banks was ready to tell Harper Sanders that he loved her, that he’d always loved her and that even though they were young, she was his forever girl.

Then her brother stepped in, wanting more for his sister than a garage owner. Too young to stand up for himself, Matt made her brother a promise that he’s regretted every day since.

After years of being ignored by the guy she’s always loved, Harper is on a dating binge. No one is Matt, but a girl can keep on trying. Then she gets stranded on the side of the road, and she has no choice but to call the only mechanic in town.

Matt comes to her rescue, and then to her bed. It’s an idyllic, passion-filled weekend—but there’s still the matter of his promise. And a man’s word is his bond.

NOTE: Take Me Now is a never before published SHORT story in the Knight Brothers series.

Barnes and Noble logo_150 ibooks-logo-150x150KoboLogogoogle_play_logo_002_002

We met Harper and Matt in Take Me Down. Harper is Emily’s partner in Harper and Em’s Bake and Brew and Matt is the town mechanic who at that time was pursuing Emily.

Harper has been in love with Matt since school, but he has continually ignored her. Now she is on her way to Denver for a coffee class in Latte Art, to learn all the cute decorations to swirl in her coffee creations.

As Harper is leaving Matt hears a noise from her car that doesn’t bode well for her trip. Harper is having none of it and drives off anyway. Only to have to call him from the road.

This is a favorite scene.

Harper hated her stubbornness. She hated that Matt was right. And most of all, she hated that she’d had to call on him to rescue her. Sitting on the side of the road, her gloves on her hands, scarf around her neck, her jacket zipped up tight, she shivered, waiting for him to arrive and rescue her.

She had too much time to think about the weekend she was now going to miss, how she’d really been looking forward to learning new foam techniques and making pretty hearts and squiggles in her customer’s cups. Not to mention a weekend to herself in Denver, no work, nothing to do but enjoy. Now she’d have to drive home in Matt’s tow truck with him muttering about how she could have saved them both the trouble by letting him check out her car before she left town.

Expecting it to take at least an hour for him to arrive, she was shocked when he showed up forty-five minutes later, skidding to a stop behind her car in his Tahoe and not his tow truck.

She opened her door just as he walked up to her side of the car. He wore his heavy parka. Her toes were frozen, her body almost numb. Just seeing him, his handsome face, and the worry in his brown eyes made her want to cry in relief.

“Did you fly here?” she asked, half-jokingly.

He looked down at her and a semi-smile lifted his sexy mouth. “No. Now, go get in my warm truck. Let me see what’s going on with your car.”

Unwilling to argue after hearing the word warm, she rushed to his vehicle, climbed into the passenger seat and slammed her door shut. The inside smelled like musky man, like Matt, and she breathed in deep, savoring the scent before she whipped off her gloves and held her hands up to the hot air blowing from the vents.

As she warmed herself, she watched as Matt first popped the hood and inspected the engine, then slammed it shut, a scowl on his face. From there, he opened her trunk and loaded her luggage into the back of his truck before returning to the driver’s side.

“Hey,” he said, as he slid into his seat. “So your belt is broken, which is what I thought that sound was. Good thing you pulled over before the engine overheated.”

Even his frown was sexy, she thought to herself. “Why didn’t you bring your tow truck?”

He slung an arm over the top of the seats and turned towards her. “Because I know how much this weekend and these classes mean to you, so we’re going to Denver. I’ll call someone to tow the car to the garage when we get there.”

She blinked in surprise. “I’m sorry … what? You’re not taking me back home?”

“No.”

“But –“

He rolled his eyes at her. “You’re going to argue with me when you’re getting exactly what you want?”

“No,” she whispered. But why was he being so … so … chivalrous? And nice? “How do you know about my classes? Never mind, my uncle,” she said, answering her own question.

He chuckled and gave her a nod. Turning in his seat, he started the car and headed toward her original destination.

“What about the garage?” she asked, knowing he worked long hours, and though he had employees, he liked to be there himself.

He glanced from her back to the road. “Harry can handle things for the weekend.”

Just … wow. “Matt?”

“Yes?” One hand on the wheel, he glanced over at her. He’d put on sunglasses that covered his eyes, and she drank in the sight of him.

She swallowed hard. “Thank you for coming to get me. And for taking me to Denver.” She couldn’t believe that was his plan.

What happens when a Knight Seduces a Dare?

Sparks fly when a Knight seduces a Dare.

Sienna Dare is forbidden.

She’s too young and she has an overprotective brother whose business Ethan Knight can’t risk losing.

He’s on the rebound and overcoming his deceased wife’s betrayal.

But at a black tie corporate event, their mutual desire flares.

Passion between them can’t be ignored.

Barnes and Noble logo_150 ibooks-logo-150x150KoboLogogoogle_play_logo_002_002

I love the Knight Brothers even as they faced the disaster of their business they persevered and two of them have found love, even their sister has finally found her one. But Ethan is different, as CEO he shoulders everything and he feels even more responsible since it was his deceased wife’s betrayal and theft that has them in this precarious position.

Sienna Dare is coming to NYC visiting Columbia on an invitation to their NYC Weekend Scholars’ Social. Since Knight Time Technology has the contract for the Miami Thunder’s new Stadium and their headquarters is in NYC Ian Dare calls in a favor to have Ethan Knight escort his sister. Of course the Knight brother’s do nothing halfway and her visit will be anything but an ordinary thing.

Now Ethan was unable to meet her at the airport, so he is to catch up with her at the Social. Boy is he in for a surprise.

This is a favorite scene.

He checked his watch. It was a quarter after the hour, fifteen minutes since this affair had begun.

Where was she?

He was a stickler for promptness and this bordered on rude. He strode over to the bar and ordered a club soda, determined to keep his wits about him tonight. No sooner had he leaned forward on one elbow and ordered than he felt the woman’s gaze on his.

He turned and looked her in the eye. Her skin glowed even under the poor bar lighting, her brown eyes sparkling. The one thing missing tonight was name tags. Someone would have their ass handed to them later, he assumed. But for now he merely met her gaze and glanced away before giving the wrong signals, his body be damned. This wasn’t the right time or place.

“Excuse me,” she said, stepping closer.

Her soft, fragrant perfume went straight to his dick, and he curled his hand around the glass the bartender had handed him.

“I’m looking for someone and you sort of look like him,” she said.

He doubted this was a lame pickup attempt, here of all places, so he trusted the question was genuine. “Just who do I look like?” he asked, now curious.

“My escort for the weekend. Ethan Dare of Knight Time Technology? I did some Googling and the photos had his hair much shorter than yours but you do look similar.” She glanced up at him with an inquiring gaze.

He blinked in shock. “You’re Sienna–”

“Sienna Dare,” she said with an engaging smile, the red lipstick enhancing her natural beauty. “I had a feeling I was right! You’re Ethan Knight?” Her light laughter sprinkled above the din of heavy voices surrounding them.

“I did my research, too, and you had blonde hair in your photos online,” he mused, taking in the differences now. The black hair suited her. She’d been a beautiful blonde, but she was a striking brunette.

“Surprise!” she said with an easy shrug. “I tend to grow bored and make changes.” Her astute stare swept over him, focusing on his face. “So do you. Your hair is much longer than the one on the KTT website.”

He admired the fact that she was diligent, looking into who she’d be meeting ahead of time, and he extended his hand.

She shook it.

He wasn’t prepared for the tremor of awareness that reverberated up his arm and went straight to his cock. He blinked in shock. Her red lips parted in surprise, letting him know she’d felt the sexual awareness between them, too.

Worse, as those luscious lips parted, all he wanted was to feel that mouth wrapped around his now raging erection. It’d been a year since he’d wanted sex, let alone one particular woman. Why the hell did it have to be this one? Ian Dare had sent her to Ethan to take care of, not fuck. The man was also the most important client Ethan had had in a long time, and that was saying something because all his clients represented multimillion- and billion-dollar deals.

Ian had made it a point of mentioning Sienna wasn’t going back to business school later in life, as many tended to do. No, she was just shy of twenty-four, which made her way too young for Ethan. Not to mention the obvious wide-eyed innocence and appreciation of the mundane that was the distinct opposite of his jaded thirty-one years.

“Mr. Knight?” Her soft voice pulled at him and she reached out, her hand touching his forearm.

Oh, fuck. “Ethan,” he said on a low growl.

“Ethan,” she said, clearly not put off by his gruff demeanor. “I said it’s nice to meet you and I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to take care of me this weekend.”

“You’re welcome,” he said roughly. “I’m sorry I didn’t pick you up from the airport. I had an emergency and couldn’t get away. I figured my sister would take good care of you.” He didn’t want her upset with him and reporting back to her brother that he’d bailed.

She waved away his concern, his gaze falling on the red nails that matched her lips. Jesus, was everything about her appealing?

“Honestly it was fine. Ian is a busy executive, too. I’m used to how things work, and I’m good with taking care of myself.”

He relaxed on that score. Ian wasn’t going to come after him for leaving some frightened girl alone in New York City. This woman knew how to take care of herself.

“So how are you enjoying your time in Manhattan?” he asked. He didn’t want to hit her up with her school and career plans right away and scare her off. Ian had mentioned she was hesitant about going to graduate school, so he planned to ease into that part of the conversation.

“I love it!” Her eyes lit up at the question. “Since I had the afternoon free, I took advantage and enjoyed myself.” She blushed and he wondered how she’d kept busy.

“What did you do with yourself?” He wasn’t usually so talkative, but she was easy to be with.

“I don’t want you to think I’m shallow. I’m here for a business school weekend,” she murmured, intriguing him.

“How about if I promise not to judge you?”

She ducked her head, then said, “I went to Saks and had my makeup done, and your sister recommended her hairstylist and I had a full salon day.”

He took in her gorgeous, expressive features, the makeup that defined her brown eyes, and the lips he wanted to devour and appreciated the effort she’d made. He would have liked to compliment her but knew how inappropriate anything he said would be, so he remained silent.

“But I’m not all about the frilly, girly stuff,” she went on to assure him. “I’m honestly interested in your business and what kind of security you’re doing at the stadium. I’d love to know more about why you feel this school is the right place for me and discuss my future,” she said, clearly nervous about the fact that she’d revealed her more frivolous side.

As a normal rule, he wouldn’t be interested in anything she’d had to say. He’d expected conversation to be forced and stilted, but he had a hunch this woman could discuss nail polish color and he’d be listening and drooling as she spoke.

He glanced at the open terrace, where people had congregated. “Let’s go outside,” he said, needing some fresh air that might dissipate her scent and its effect on his body.

“Sure. It’s a beautiful night,” she said, as he gestured for her to walk ahead of him.
Carly Phillips. Dare Me Tonight (Kindle Locations 221-272). Carly Phillips.

For Ethan meeting Sienna is a turning point and he spends a lot of time in denial. Keeping their activities a secret while working together is more than difficult.

You know how it goes, the tangled web and all. Ethan may jeopardize his entire business because of this relationship.

Laughter, fun, romance, tears, plenty of heat and a few surprises will have you turning the pages for more.

Opposites not only attract, they combust!

Parker Knight was going through the motions… and then he met her.

In sweet, sexy Emily Stevens and the rundown resort she runs with her father, Parker sees the chance to reclaim the life he once lost and take care of the first woman who makes him feel … everything. He wants her in a way he’s never desired a woman before and yearns to sample the treats the sexy baker has to offer.

But Emily doesn’t trust charming city guys, especially one who is going to leave when his time off is over. No matter how good he makes her feel, in bed or out.

Parker has his hands full, not only with a wary Emily but with someone who doesn’t want the lodge to succeed, and if things keep getting worse, not even a Knight can save her.

Barnes and Noble logo_150 ibooks-logo-150x150KoboLogogoogle_play_logo_002_002

Oh how I love this family. They have wormed their way into my heart and I can’t get enough.

In this book they are looking for a place for a corporate retreat, one in the mountains. The person in charge of checking out the different resorts had surgery and now is unable to continue the search. Now the only Ethan can think of qualified to select such a place is Parker.

An Bronze Metal Olympic skier, Parker had sustained an injury during trials, followed by a car accident as he returned to the sport, that left him more than physically injured. He hasn’t been anywhere near the slopes since then. So this expedition isn’t exactly what he wants to do but perhaps it’s exactly what he needs.

As Parker is looking for the perfect place when his rental car starts acting strange so he stops at a small town garage. The car’s problem will have him stranded for a while. This is where things start to get interesting.

The recommend inn is not really open for business, and in a bit of disrepair, but the owner James Stevens has a dream to fulfill. His daughter Emily thinks otherwise and has a few demons to exercise thanks to her ex.

This is a favorite scene.

Emily walked into the room and came to a stop, Harper barreling into her from behind.

A man stood in the doorway, suitcase at his feet. From the designer shoes with the Gucci buckle to the obviously expensive jeans to the shearling-lined jacket, everything about him screamed city slicker. Just like Rex.

Her gaze came to his revealing blue eyes in a drop-dead gorgeous face, strong jaw, full lips, and distinctively handsome features. But his good looks didn’t erase the fact that he was everything she’d come to distrust in a man.

“Can I help you?” she asked coolly.

He met her gaze with a friendly one of his own. “I’m looking to rent a room.”

“I’m sorry but we’re not open for business.”

“Yeah, Matt mentioned something about that but–”

“You came here anyway, hoping to charm me into giving you a place to stay,” she said as if it were a crime.

“Hey!” Harper nudged her in the back. “No need to be rude to the man. He’s hot.” She whispered the last part in Emily’s ear.

He narrowed his gaze, probably not understanding her chilly tone. “Actually my car broke down and it needs a part. Matt has to order it and I need a place to stay while I call the rental place and figure out what happens next.”

“No.” Emily was adamant. This sexy, good-looking man wasn’t staying in the room next to hers.

“But you’re the only inn within hours and I’m shit out of luck if you don’t help me. Please.” He treated her to what she supposed would be a panty-melting grin that worked on any woman who hadn’t been subjected to a con man’s charm before. She didn’t trust his good looks or smile.

“Emily–” This from Harper behind her.

“Hey, darling daughter of mine. What’s going on?” Emily’s father joined them, walking down the stairs from where his bedroom was located. Emily’s large room and the other guest rooms were on the opposite side of the house.

James Stevens was in his late fifties, he was strong, fit, and he liked to do more than he should around the house. He and Emily looked nothing alike. She’d gotten her blonde hair from her mom, God rest her soul. Her dad had brown hair and a scruffy beard. And he loved having guests. The bed-and-breakfast had been her parents’ dream – until her mother got sick and things fell apart during her illness.

“Mr.– Oh! We don’t even know your name,” Harper said. “His car broke down and he needs a room.”

“I’m Parker Knight,” he said, giving Harper a grateful wink. A wink that turned Emily’s insides to mush, not that she’d let him know that.

“James Stevens, and this is my daughter, Emily. And her friend, Harper.”

Harper, the traitor, treated him to a friendly wave.

Parker chuckled and grinned at her before turning back to the older man. Emily refused to admit what that wink – at her friend – did to her insides.

“Your daughter said you aren’t renting. But I’m really in a bind.” He appealed to her father instead of Emily, obviously because she’d already turned him down. “So can you make an exception? Please?”

Her father turned to her, a frown on his face. “Emily Ann Stevens, I’m disappointed in you. How could you turn away someone in need? You know we rent to a person or two at a time. We just can’t handle a full house.” He turned back to the man named Parker. “Of course you can stay. Emily, show the man to a room, please.”

Her stomach cramped as she realized she wasn’t going to win this battle. The hot city guy was here to stay. For a couple of days or more, she didn’t know. As far as she was concerned, one day was one too many.
Carly Phillips. Take Me Down (Kindle Locations 207-237). Carly Phillips.

With a place to stay, Parker also finds himself attracted to the prickly Emily and interested in helping her father restore the inn.

Emily on the other hand, is fighting the attraction. He reminds her of her ex and he is undermining her plans for her father. Plans her father really isn’t interested in.

Fun, revelations, romance, suspense and so much more make this a page turning read.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

And ultimately stealing the very pissed off bride and taking her to a secluded cabin.

He wants one week to convince her they’re meant to be, to remind her of the fiery passion still burning between them.

When their time together is up, will she walk away and break his heart this time, or will he finally have the woman he’s wanted all along?

Ethan asks Sierra more than once if she’s sure, as he walked her down the aisle. In spite of seeing Ryder and the memories that swamped her, she continued to the alter where Jason waited. Only to get the shock of her life. It’s one thing to object at a wedding ceremony, it’s another to more or less steal the bride away.

Ryder has done both as he spirits Sierra away instead of talking to her at the church. Where they end up had me chuckling even as Sierra silently lets exhaustion override her.

Their past becomes their present as they come to understand what has happened between them, but can it be their future?

Full of passion and romance, this book is delightful.

He’s the total package.

Except …

Eric Miller isn’t looking for a long term relationship. And he definitely isn’t thrilled when a friend signs him up for The Boyfriend Experience app behind his back. It’s not like he has a problem getting women on his own. But when he gets a notification that someone is in need of his . . . services, he’s intrigued enough to check out her profile and can’t resist the sexy, sassy little brunette who only wants him as a decoy for a family event.

Evie Bennett needs a boyfriend, stat. Someone who can accompany her to her family reunion so she doesn’t have to explain that she’s been recently dumped. Again. She’s perfectly happy being an independent woman, but what’s a girl to do when her new fake boyfriend starts to feel like the real deal?

I really like this whole concept of a boyfriend for hire. Nothing long term but to cover those uncomfortable situations that require one.

Of course the way Eric got added to the site was hysterical and the fact that his friend Dylan managed to accept that beta request was even funnier. Well funny to me, not so much to Eric.

Evie really needs a date for her family reunion weekend, not so much for her parents but to ward off her cousin and her fiancé, the fiancé that just happens to be one of Evie’s ex-boyfriends.

Now Eric wasn’t going to do it, he was going to tell her that when they met but there was just something about Evie that he couldn’t turn her down. He did however have to check his work schedule.

This is a favorite scene.

As he headed back toward her with both of their drinks in hand, she regained her composure. By the time he sat down across from her again and she had her first sip of her caffeinated latte, she felt like she could carry on an intelligent conversation with him.

“I have to say, hiring someone to be my boyfriend isn’t something I’d normally do,” she said, not sure why she thought she had to justify her actions to him, but doing it anyway. Maybe because the scenario seemed so . . . desperate, and that’s the last thing she wanted him to think. Even if it was partially true.

His eyes twinkled at her from above the rim of his cup as he took a drink of his own coffee before replying. “And offering my services to impersonate a woman’s boyfriend isn’t something I’d normally do, either.”

She laughed at that. “You’re the one who signed up to be on the Boyfriend Experience app.”

The corner of his mouth quirked with humor. “Touché,” he said, as if there was more to his story than met the eye, but he didn’t share anything more.

Whatever his reasons for being on the app, she wasn’t about to judge. She figured he needed the money, or maybe he just enjoyed randomly dating women and playing the part of a doting boyfriend. Clearly there was a demand for that kind of service, and someone had to fulfill the requests.

“So, back to my question,” he said, leaning back casually in his seat, causing his shirt to tighten across his chest, just enough to hint at the toned body beneath. “Why would a beautiful woman like you need to hire a fake boyfriend?”

Her cheeks warmed at his flattery. He definitely had the charm part of his persona down pat, along with a sense of humor. He’d already proven to be kind and considerate by insisting to buy her drink, and overall, he was easy to be with. Maybe because this wasn’t a real date. She didn’t have to impress him since she’d be paying him to do a job, and there were no expectations between them other than what she required from him.

“To make a long story short, my ex cheated on me after four months together,” she said, getting the humiliating part of the story out of the way. “He was supposed to attend a family reunion with me over the Fourth of July weekend and meet my parents and relatives for the first time.”

Confusion furrowed his brows. “In four months together, they’ve never seen a picture of this guy?” he asked incredulously. “Or do I look like him?”

“Ahhh, no, to both questions,” she said, and explained. “He’s a social worker and doesn’t have any social media accounts, and I never sent a picture of him to my parents. But you do share the same first name. I figured you both being an Eric would make me less likely to mess up your name in front of my family.”

“Is that why you chose me?” he asked curiously, his gaze holding hers, warm and too damn tempting. “Because our names are the same?”

“Initially, that’s what made me click on your profile.” She didn’t mention that his gorgeous face had been part of what had influenced her decision because that seemed so superficial. “Then I read your bio, and it was quirky and funny and made me laugh, and trust me when I say I need a guy who doesn’t take things too seriously, because my parents are a little over-the-top and you’re going to need to roll with the punches when it comes to them.” And to also deal with her disingenuous, two-faced cousin and her underhanded remarks.

“Can’t wait to hear more about them,” he said, grinning as he took another drink of his Americano, giving her a moment to appreciate his long fingers and neatly trimmed nails. “So, are you trying to please your parents by bringing a boyfriend to the reunion? Are they the type who are anxious for you to settle down so they can have grandbabies and you don’t want to deal with the whole when are you getting married spiel?”

She laughed and shook her head. “No, they’ve honestly never pressured me.”

Turning more serious, Evie absently rubbed her palms along her thighs beneath the table, knowing she needed to clue him in to why she was hiring him so he’d be on his game while interacting with her family, but hating the embarrassing reality of the situation. “The truth is, I don’t want to show up at the reunion and have to explain to everyone that I’m no longer with Eric . . . the other Eric. They’ll want to know what happened, and I’ll have to explain the degrading story of being duped and cheated on, and everyone is going to feel sorry for me the entire time I’m there and treat me with kid gloves because they’ll think I’m depressed over the breakup.”

“Are you? Depressed over how things ended?” he asked.

She shook her head, and since he seemed genuinely interested in her answer, she replied candidly. “No. I’m more angry that I didn’t see it coming, and that I dismissed red flags I should have paid more attention to because I didn’t want to be one of those paranoid girlfriends who didn’t trust their boyfriend. In hindsight, I should have listened to my gut, and now I find it a little hard to trust my own judgment when it comes to . . .” Realizing the direction the conversation was heading, she abruptly stopped talking. The last thing she wanted to do was bare her insecurities to a guy she’d just met or have him feel sorry for her.

“When it comes to men?” He finished the sentence anyway. His low voice, threaded with understanding, prompted her to be honest.

“Yeah.” She nodded. “That’s why a pretend boyfriend works for me.

In spite of the way they were matched up, it was so enjoyable to watch this relationship develop. We get more insight into why Eric doesn’t want a serious relationship, tears there folks.

Evie’s parents are a hoot and her cousin well she’s a bully and an overbearing, obnoxious woman.

Lots of laughs, tears and seriously hot scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Erika Wilde (aka Janelle Denison) is the USA Today bestselling author of over 50 contemporary romances for multiple print publishers.
So, why the new pen name?

As Janelle Denison I’ve always written sexy books, but lately my writing has taken on more erotic elements that I wanted to keep separate for readers because not everyone likes their reading material on the spicier, kinkier side of romance. However, please be assured that even as Erika Wilde, you will still get an emotionally layered story with characters you’ll care about and fall in love with. That is always my goal, whether I’m writing straight contemporary romances, or more erotically charged stories.

Currently, I’m working on The Marriage Diaries and making sure that Dean and Jillian enjoy exploring the more erotic side to their marriage. The series will be on-going, with no foreseeable ending as of right now, for as long as readers want to be voyeurs to Dean and Jillian’s sizzling new relationship.

I’m also planning a spin-off series in the future, featuring the hot military men that work security for Dean at Noble and Associates.
